There’s something about this time of year that makes you want to leave, even just for a few days.
I have a good friend travelling these days for the Easter holidays, and I keep wondering how I always manage to skip this moment of the year. Is it because in France we only have one day off? Well, it depends on the calendar… but still, I feel like I should already block it in next year’s agenda: holiday, find somewhere to go, travel, enjoy.
And it makes me happy to realize that we can finally offer a bag made for that, for travel, for movement, for everyday escapes.
Even if it’s the latest addition to our collection, our tote bag Trixi was actually the very first idea I had when I created RECO. I imagined a series of tote bags, each one different, using patchwork, colour combinations, and unexpected mixes. I pictured them displayed on a wall, standing out from the rather uniform offer we see everywhere today, pieces that catch your eye, not because you need them, but simply because they are beautiful, creative, and fun.
Because this is also what a bag can do: bring a bit of joy and colour into your everyday life.
Trixi is designed as a travel bag, but not only. It’s a tote you can use for a weekend away, for work, for carrying your life around. And maybe the best part is that you don’t even need to travel — somehow, it already makes you feel a little somewhere else when you wear it.
